Rocky Mountain Bride

When Styling this shoot I wanted to keep it simple just a bride, a dress, a bouquet, and a beautiful location. Anna, the model, and I have been good friends for years, I really wanted to give her the gift of gorgeous photos, making her feel beautiful and empowered.

For the details I crafted the bouquet myself out of red roses, berries, and a lot of greenery. I wanted to add contrast with feathers and I think they added a creative touch. I also wanted to keep the shoot natural and relaxed, keeping Anna unposed as much as possible and creating movement in the photos.

This styled shoot was at a Last Chance Pub and cider Mill, the rich colors the Cider Mill has to offer and the floor to ceiling emerald green fireplace, helped inform the creativity for the photoshoot. I wanted to represent creatives in Billings Montana well, while merging together wedding vendors and local artists. The first time I walked in the Cider Mill I was inspired and knew I had to shoot in their space. The Cider Mill is a nontraditional venue where people would not normally think to have a wedding, but the space they have to offer is stunning. Every vendor that helped was so kind and eager to be apart of the photoshoot I truly felt a sense of community when the day was over.
